4 Years!

Here we are 4 years ago today leaving the church. Gee, time sure does go fast, especially since the addition of a little person, who I might add, has been throwing quite a few temper tantrums lately if one doesn't get his own way! (I think the terrible two's have started early- yikes!)
We had a small wedding of only 40 guests under a marquee in Brisbane's New Farm Park. It was beautiful, there were bamboo torches everywhere and red luminarios (paper bag lanterns, inspired from our trip to Mexico) and hot pink gerbras and red ranunculas (kinda like roses but not as tight) The visual merchandising team I was working with at the time did a magnificent job in setting it all up. We had one long table so it was kinda like a big dinner party and quite intimate. I'll have to get out the ten tonne wedding album that my dear friends from Vivid Photography, Cath and Richard shot for us (we went to Uni together) it's beautiful!
So its off to dinner tonight without the little guy (I have to go, the littlemunki is up to no good - terrorizing the dog!)
More mail!
Look what else arrived in the mail today.....my tags! So now I'd better get sewing. Next there will be swing tags, then business cards.....this is getting serious!

On another note, it will be my hubby and mines' 4th wedding anniversary on friday. It only seems like yesterday I was getting all frocked up for the big day! So we are going out for dinner on friday night to a restaurant called Lat27 mmmmmm, I'm looking forward to dessert!
I love mail!
I am now the proud owner of a Hop skip jump pin cushion! I was one of the lucky ones! Thankyou sooo much fiona for all the lovely goodies, the fabric is beautiful. The heart fabric is so sweet, oh I love it all! Yeah for swapping! Yeah for me!

nervous anticipation!
Well I've finally done what I've been thinking about for a awfully long time. I've decided to take the plunge and sell my softies! I was all set to go until I saw the incredible work out there and began to have second thoughts, but after a lot of postive affirmations of 'you can do it!', here it is!......you can find the link over there on the right......go on....
new toy
Don't you just love it when you make something and the little person in your life just loves it?
I made the littlemunki this puppy the other day and gave it to him when he woke up from his nap, he gave him a big kiss and a cuddle and carried him around the remainder of the afternoon....cute hey!

I'm off to make more puppies. I've already got names for them, Rex, Oliver, Esmeralda........
